After four weeks in the the Soil Mechanics Lab at NYU-Poly, we have completed a set of six permeameters that have automation with a Parallax Basic Stamp 2. There's still more to do, but we'll be working with Eduardo Suescun and Andrew Cave during the regular academic year and can continue exploring this and developing it further.

CainHolstein_8Aug2011_WeeklyProgress -

We're now in the last week of the program where we will have to submit a comprehensive research report documenting our findings, along with a final PowerPoint presentation and a poster. Additionally, we shall formalize our lesson idea into a cohesive teachengineering.org plan to submit for review.
